I am one semester into post baccalaureate pre-med series at San Francisco State. Starting this Spring I will begin Biology 2 and Organic Chemistry 2. I will complete the pre-requisite series by the summer of 2007, at which point I will begin applying to medical schools. I am interested in community and family medicine, infectious disease, and emergency, but I expect these interests will evolve during my progression through the medical school process. My eventual hope is to contribute to family health and education in Spanish speaking communities in the United States, and contribute to rural health efforts in South America.
